In addition to treating children in middle school, Dr. Joe specializes in intercepting and preventing orthodontic problems at a younger age. The American Association of Orthodontists recommends an orthodontic evaluation when children are 7 years old. Dr. Joe knows that by checking children's teeth and bites at 7 he can evaluate and treat problems, which reduce the length of future braces and possibly avoid extracting permanent teeth.
